How Lone Star Index combines performance, insider conviction and momentum into a Relocation Score from 0 to 100.
We compare dividend adjusted weekly company returns with SPY, an S&P 500 proxy. Relocated companies start at their recorded move date, or July 1 of the recorded year. Other companies use three years and carry a Texas based badge.
We subtract insider sales from purchases over twelve months, weighted by dollar value. A decay with a half life of 90 days gives recent trades more influence. No activity is neutral.
We average relative strength against SPY over three months and six months.
Each part becomes a percentile rank across companies with usable data. We apply the fixed weights and round the result. Missing or delisted tickers are skipped. Every saved run includes each component and its measurement window.
